Our Food Industry Chain can be supplied in a variety of materials and finishes:

Special Alloy Coating – to protect against corrosion caused by aggressive washing procedures.

H1 Food Grade Lubrication – depending on application requirements, our chain is hot dipped in H1 food grade lubricant in our UK workshop.

Chain Preloaded – to help reduce fatigue and extend the wear life of the chain, Donghua’s Link Chain comes preloaded as standard, unlike link chains produced by other manufacturers in the UK. Chain with little or no preload applied will suffer significant elongation during initial use and will need to be replaced sooner, meaning more downtime for food production lines.

Chain Fit – We match our Attachment Chain to very close tolerances to ensure that the attachment links fit together with the sprockets, thus eliminating excessive stress on the attachments which is a major cause of fatigue failures.

Roller Chain: Our Roller Chain is compatible with all leading food production machinery manufacturers including Rademaker, Raque, Meurer, Johnson, Ishida, Krones, Bradman Lane, Baker Perkins and many more.

Polymer Conveyor Chain: Donghua’s plastic Conveyor Chain is specially designed to prevent the introduction of foreign materials and reduce maintenance costs and downtime, making it ideal for the Food sector. Manufactured using food grade engineering plastic, our lightweight Polymer Chain is oil-free and can be washed during scheduled machine maintenance due to its corrosion resistance. Because it is designed with fewer moving parts and no rollers to wear out, our Polymer Chain reduces the need for additional maintenance downtime.

Universal Link Chain: A ‘one chain fits all’ Link Chain that replaces 99 percent of other manufacturers’ chains. Manufactured specifically for the distribution market in the UK, our Link Chain comes pre-loaded as standard and can be supplied correctly matched and labeled to be fitted in sequence on-site. Standard, nickel plated, zinc plated, self-lubricating and stainless steel finishes are available in BS and AS and common constructions are held in stock for immediate delivery. Loose attachments for in-house chains are also kept in stock.

Bespoke Chain: Custom designed Attachment Chain manufactured to specific customer specifications, manufactured to the highest standards incorporating state-of-the-art finishing techniques, bespoke attachments and excellent wear resistance and low maintenance.

Sprockets: At Donghua we manufacture standard Sprockets and large pitch Conveyor Sprockets as well as Special Form Sprockets to customer requirements. Our Sprockets are available in self-colored, Nickel plated or Coated finished bore, pilot bore and taper bushing.
